Just for an early note, All-Access has MasterCard options available, but they don’t have the same variety of benefits as the Visa cards. Their Visa prepaid credit cards offer a lot of good options for the person who just wants a credit card to make their life a bit easier.
You’ll get all the usual benefits with the card. There is a maximum balance of $10,000 and no required minimum balance. You can also withdraw money from any compatible ATM. No credit checks will be performed. Everyone is welcome.
The extras are really nice with this card. There are no fees to activate the card, so your startup is free. Any money on the card will earn interest at a competitive rate through their free savings account option. You can get more cards put onto your account so that your whole family can easily benefit too. Sharing one card is just as “fun” as managing four different accounts. It’s much easier to just have a card for everyone. It is also possible to just give them an empty card and transfer money over to it with their free card-to-card instant transfers, for those big spenders who need a clear cap. On the other hand, if you run a bit low, they offer overdraft protection plans to carry you through a brief low period. Not having to scramble for cash at the register is certainly a big plus.
Now for the fees. Well, the fee plan actually matches up with their basic intent. If you are just going to use it once or twice a month, then you can choose to pay a small fee each time. Big spenders can choose to just enter a monthly payment plan. You can have unlimited free purchases with the top plan at $9.95 a month.
All Access’ cards follow the basics of what a prepaid card should offer. They have some really nice additions that make things as convenient as possible for you. It may not be as nice as a real card and the fees may be a little annoying, but it should definitely be considered by anyone who wants a reputable prepaid card that offers something extra at a reasonable price.
